Bio:I have to say it has been interesting reading everyone's bios, I guess I didn't really know many of you that well in high school.
After highschool, I worked part time as a nurse's aid, a job I started my junior year of high school, while also working almost full time as a program assitant for the 916 school district, which serves a wide variety of disabled and troubled youth. 1998 I started working for REI, and stayed there for about 5 years, sometimes full time, sometimes part time. I also spent about three years during this time working for a kidney transplant program in Minneapolis. In 2003, I FINALLY decided to go back to college. I graduated with a BA in "biology, society and environment" this past spring (2007). I recently started working as a "regulatory associate" for a clinical research firm that mostly focuses on trial drugs for patients with end stage renal disease. So I work a lot with doctors and dialysis units and drug companies. So far it is pretty interesting.
I've done lots of other non work or school related things too. I have traveled a lot out west, Montana mostly. I have also visited Hawaii, Norway, Sweden, and Portugal. Next year I will be eyeing Germany.
I'm currently single and do not have any children. I'm not sure if my life will bring me down that path anytime soon. All things considered, I'm quite happy with where it has brought me so far.
Cheers!
Rikke
